Hot Shots is Tennis Australia's nationally recognised kids program, run at Evolve in small groups of six with qualified coaches who know how children learn.
Built for ages 3 and up, it uses smaller courts, lighter racquets and lower-compression balls so the game clicks from day one, at the right level, every session. Your child plays where they're ready, builds real skills, and most importantly, wants to come back.
The hot shots pathway
They grow, and the program grows with them.
Hot Shots is structured so your child never feels out of their depth. As their skills grow, they move through colour-coded stages, each with its own court size, ball and coaching focus.
From their first game with a foam ball to their first match on a full-size court, every step builds on the last. After Green, players move into Yellow Stage (recreational) or Junior Performance Squads (competitive).
